2014 Prequel & Sequel Challenge -- Sign-Up and Tracking Post

Hi everyone!

I've decided to do the 2014 Prequel & Sequel Challenge hosted by Novel Heartbeat and Writer Grrl Reads. I'm really excited about this challenge because this is a big year for sequels and series conclusions, so I feel like my TBR pile/shelf/mountain will fit this challenge well.

The rules are a little complex, so I won't regurgitate them all here. If you're interested in the challenge, check out the info!

I've already read two books that qualify and earned some points. I've reviewed one of them and will be reviewing the second tomorrow. I'll be continually updating this post throughout the year. The title of each book below will be linked to the corresponding review.

JANUARY & FEBRUARY Books Read and Reviewed ...
  • Infinite (Newsoul Trilogy #3) by Jodi Meadows -- 12 POINTS
    • 2 points + 10 bonus points for finishing and reviewing an entire series (see reviews of Incarnate and Asunder)
  • Destroy Me (Shatter Me #1.5) by Tahereh Mafi -- 2 POINTS
MARCH Books Read and Reviewed ...
  • Unravel Me (Shatter Me #2) by Tahereh Mafi -- 2 POINTS
  • Fracture Me (Shatter Me #2) by Tahereh Mafi -- 2 POINTS
  • Through the Ever Night (Under the Never Sky #2) by Veronica Rossi -- 2 POINTS
MAY Books Read and Reviewed ...
  • The One (The Selection #3) by Kiera Cass -- 12 POINTS
    • 2 points + 10 bonus points for finishing and reviewing an entire series (see reviews of The Selection and The Elite)
  • The Eternity Cure (Blood of Eden #2) by Julie Kagawa -- 2 POINTS
  • The Forever Song (Blood of Eden #2) by Julie Kagawa -- 12 POINTS
    • 2 points + 10 bonus points for finishing and reviewing an entire series (see review of The Immortal Rules)
  • City of Heavenly Fire (The Mortal Instruments #6) by Cassandra Clare -- 2 POINTS
JUNE Books Read and Reviews ...
  • Ruin and Rising (The Grisha Trilogy #1) by Leigh Bardugo -- 12 POINTS
    • 2 points + 10 bonus points for finishing and reviewing an entire series (see reviews of Shadow and Bone and Siege and Storm)
It's my personal goal to reach the level of veteran by the end of the year, which means I need to earn at least 101 points -- I've got big reading goals and lots of challenges this year, so I feel like this is very doable for me.

What are some of your reading goals for this 2014? Are you doing any challenges? Check out my sidebar to see what other challenges I'm working on -- maybe there's one you'll love, too!

xoxo,
Heather
